Key Ingredients

Donkey Milk
Donkey milk has been known as a beauty elixir since ancient times for its excellent skin care properties. It has excellent anti-aging, moisturising and anti-acne properties. Donkey milk is hydrating and has four times the vitamin C as cow’s milk. It also contains casein, lactose, vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D, and E.

An ancient beauty elixir containing 4 times the vitamin C of cows milk and casein, lactose, vitamins A, B(1,2&6), D, and E. Donkey Milk is anti-aging, moisturising acne curing.

Rose Absolute
Rose absolute is ideal for preventing acne whilst also soothing itchy skin conditions. It is shown to delay the presence of wrinkles and other age marks. Mind & emotions properties in rose absolute help those who are going through depression as it’s an antidepressant which alleviates symptoms of stress and anxiety.

Glycerine
Glycerine is a skin-friendly humectant which draws water to the skin. It has wonderful emollient and water-retaining properties make the mask non-irritating, soothing and moisturizing. Anti-bacterial and softening properties make it perfect for the most sensitive types of skin whilst treating dry/cracked skin, eczema, acne and burns and rashes. Palm-free glycerine leaves the skin feeling softer, smoother, and healthier.

French Rose Clay
Rose Clay is excellent for cell renewal, skin rejuvenation, and improving elasticity. It is high in Iron Oxide and Silica which help to regenerate skin tissue. Rose Clay makes our face mask feel silky on the skin to make it even more soothing.

Calamine Powder
Calamine Powder is antiseptic, gentle, and calming. It is a natural skin lighter and extremely healing and antioxidant rich. Calamine helps reduce acne inflammation, breakouts, and minor scars, promotes a healthy glow of the skin as it heals and restores its natural moisture content.

Bulgarian Rose Floral Water
Straight from the Valley of Roses in Bulgaria rose water soothes inflammation and redness whilst maintaining skins optimum PH balance.

Pomegranate Oil
Pomegranate oil stimulates ‘keratinocytes’, which are the major cells found in the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin). Regenerating these cells helps to reverse past damage and revive the skin to reveal a fresher and more youthful appearance. Pomegranate oil provides hydrating relief to the skin treating dryness, eczema, psoriasis, and sunburn.

Sweet Orange Oil
Sweet orange essential oil is antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Frequently Asked Questions

When I apply the mask, I get a tingling sensation is this normal?
Yes! Slight tingling may occur this is normal as it has active ingredients if tingling becomes severe or painful, please remove the mask immediately with warm water. Avoid direct contact with eyes or mouth. Discontinue use if skin becomes irritated.

I have used my mask a few times and it’s a bit dry, what should I do?
This is perfectly normal, naturally when clay is exposed to air the more you open your jar the mask tends to get dryer. If your mask dries up simply mix in a few drops of water for a smooth texture and then apply on to the skin as usual.

My mask has separated is it safe to use?
As this is a natural product, and we do not like using emulsifiers that don’t need to be used to blend the ingredients. As this is a mask that contains oil it is typical for some of the clay and oil to separate in the jar. If this happens just stir the mask to activate ingredients. It is totally safe and very normal for natural based.

My colour has changed or doesn’t look like the same colour on the website. The colour of this mask may vary due to natural ingredients. Some of the ingredients we use in this mask like French rose clay can vary in colour from all the way to pink, red and in some batches reddish brown, because of this the colour in the final product changes batch to batch. We try and create the pretty earthy pistachio pink tone but, in some batches, it can be an earthy brownish pink. The colour may also fade over time, depending on where you store it, but this does not alter its efficiency.

The Ritual

How to Use

Masking Ritual, the YK way. Open your mask, take a deep breath & inhale the beautiful scent to invoke a sense of calm. Smooth a thick layer to clean moist skin. Leave on for 10 – 15 minutes & wash off. Add water if needed to make a smoother consistency. Recommended use: 1- 2 times a week
